The Siemens 6SL3055-0AA00-5CA2 is a SINAMICS SMC30 Sensor Module Cabinet-Mounted, used for encoder signal evaluation within SINAMICS S120 and DCM drive systems. It supports incremental encoders (TTL/HTL) as well as SSI encoders (with or without incremental signals), with a maximum encoder frequency of up to 300 kHz per Siemens specifications and a 30 mm overall width. The module provides a 24 V DC supply, an encoder system power supply of 5 V DC (0.35 A), and IP20 protection.
