An 8-port fan-out / interface multiplier unit designed for Industrial Ethernet / SIMATIC NET environments to distribute signals.
• Lifecycle Status:
Discontinued. It was phased out/discontinued by Siemens (with phase-out dates around September 2000 for specific milestones and total supply discontinuation following thereafter).
• Can it be used with CP 1511?
Yes. Unlike the smaller SSV 102 unit, the SSV 104 (6GK1104-0AA00) must be used if you are connecting a CP 1511, because the CP 1511 does not supply transceiver voltage (AUI interface) required by the SSV 102.
